How to Apply: Steps for Success
Understand your options: Explore your motivation, consider different locations, and verify eligibility. Start by registering with the OCS EdGE Course through Omprakash!
Explore programs: Search for approved programs in the Colby Portal, attend the Study Abroad Fair and sophomore information session (every fall), or visit the OCS office for inspiration!
Take your first steps: Meet with your academic advisor to discuss your ideas, or make an advising appointment with OCS on Handshake. You will need to submit your Statement of Intent in the Colby Portal by Nov. 15. You will not need to know your program but will need to choose a semester and give academic justification for your choice.
Start Applying! There are two application processes- an internal Colby Application for Approval and then the external application to your program(s). Each have different steps! Learn about the Colby Application here and external applications here.
Get Going! Confirm your plans by committing to your program in the Colby Portal. Enjoy your program and don’t forget to submit an evaluation once your program ends.
