Colby Trail

As you navigate the Colby Trail, our first year experience, you will  immerse yourself in Colby’s community. 

It all begins in the summer before your arrive on campus with the News From the Trail newsletter and the New Mule Orientation. 

Then, you arrive to Mayflower Hill and complete the in-person Orientation and participate in COOT, Colby’s Outdoor Orientation Trip. 

Once the dust has settled and you find yourself finding your rhythm, you will complete the Sexual Violence Prevention (SVP) program, eCHECKUP TO GO, and the Colby Passport Program where you will continue to build upon connections fostered during Orientation and COOT. 

These unique checkpoints form the Colby Trail, our unique approach to a First Year Experience. items combine to create the First Year Experience at Colby.
