Apply to your Program

After your Colby Application has been submitted, you will be notified about your status and you can start applying to your program providers or foreign university directly through their website by their stated deadline. Be sure to check application deadlines for your program, as some are earlier than others. We recommend applying early; many programs fill up before their stated deadlines.

Once you receive confirmation from your program that you’ve been accepted, log-back into your account in the Colby portal and change your status to “committed” so we know you’ll be traveling. You can apply to more than one (Colby approved) program externally, but please use your top-choice program on your Colby Application for Approval. If later you commit to a program that is NOT the program you used on your Colby Application, you will need to 1) notify OCS so we can know where you’re going and 2) obtain new course approvals for your classes.
