East and West Quad are the most central residence halls on campus, close to all campus resources . Each building has beautiful views of Johnson pond. East Quad faces Miller Library with a view over Johnson Pond out the other side. It includes Small, Champlin, and Butler halls. Built in 1946, East Quad was extensively remodeled and modernized in 1998, with additional renovations in 2021. For the 2021-2022 academic year, East will be home to the substance-free specialty community.
